Arrowhead Saddle Club

I just came back from HorseFest, where they had a 2-part segment on dental for horses.  I was amazed at how many bits are not only painful for horses, but can cause serious damage to their mouths and surrounding tissues.  For example, Dr. Cole discussed the ramifications of using a straight curb bit.  I, for one, did not know that it is possible to actually "cut" a horses tongue in half with a bit...did you?
